The Topical Art programme was started in 2004. Many projects within this programme are conducted in cooperation with the St. Petersburg branch of the State Centre of Modern Art.

The project includes:

1. master classes and working demonstrations of famous Russian and foreign artists;
   
2. round-table discussions and seminars dedicated to the modern art problems (with participation of the leading Russian and foreign art critics);
   
3. lectures on history and theory of 20th-century and modern art.
