The exhibition celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Great Embassy of Peter I was held at the Hermitage in 1996 and in Holland in 1997. The Embassy played an important role in the development of economic and cultural relations between the two countries. The catalogue includes scholarly essays and items from Russian and Dutch museums, archives and libraries.
