A reproduction of a Roman copy of the marble bust of Aphrodite of Cnidus created by the famous Greek sculptor Praxiteles in the mid-4th century BC. Praxiteles was the first to represent Aphrodite entirely exposed, thereby endowing her image with grace and gentleness.
