A reproduction of the head of Cyniscus from Mantineia (c. 450 BC) created by the Greek sculptor Polyclitus. The original sculpture shows a graceful and beautiful youth with gentle features. The youth's half-opened eyes and tilted head imply a hint of melancholy. It has been skillfully crafted by experienced workmen of the Hermitage workshops.
