A chess table with a marquetry chessboard top. The middle shelf features a number of landscapes and city views. Inlaid compositions and patterns are created using a wide variety of woods including burled birch, walnut, rosewood, oak and maple. The design of the table is typical of the Russian Neo-Classical style.
