A poster of Still Life with a Curtain by Paul Cezanne. The original (1895, France; oil on canvas, 21 5/8 x 29 1/4 in.) came to the Hermitage in 1930 from the State Museum of New Western Art in Moscow. Cezanne transforms every element in his painting into a distinct form, using contrast between three-dimensional elements and intense color to highlight the dynamics and tension of the scene.
