A poster of Woman Holding Fruit by Paul Gauguin. The original (1893, France; oil on canvas, 36 3/8 x 28 7/8 in.) came to the Hermitage in 1948 from the State Museum of New Western Art in Moscow. Gauguin saw the everlasting rhythm of life and the harmony between man and nature in this scene from everyday island life.
