A delicately patterned silk scarf hand-made in England, inspired by a cameo design of a plate from a service manufactured in France. The color scheme and pattern on the scarf reflects the painting on the service, which was created by order of Catherine II for presentation to her favorite Potyomkin. An ivory background complements the floral ornaments, the cameos from Greek and Roman myths, and the turquoise-golden painting.
