This collectible miniature set presents five beautifully hand-painted guardsmen of the Preobrazhensky Regiment, a successor to the Amusement Regiment, instituted to amuse young Peter the Great. This regiment displayed outstanding heroism in the battle of Narva (1700), after which it was called the Life Guards. This skillfully hand-crafted miniature set is a valuable historic keepsake.
