This cup and saucer set is painted with a view of the magnificent ensemble of the Neva embankments. The artist has accurately captured the appearance of the city, bringing out an especial festive atmosphere. The set was produced at the city's Lomonosov (formerly Imperial) Porcelain Factory for the 300th anniversary of Russia's northern capital. It bears the dates 1703-2003 and the city's coat-of-arms.
