The most traditional and widely employed form introduced by Faberge was the Easter egg with a decorative rim. Such rims would allow to open the eggs and transform them into miniature boxes with a surprise inside. The elegant earrings adorned with tiny Easter souvenirs, reminiscent of Faberge's works, are copies of the earrings presented by Emperor Nicholas II to his daughter Anastasia on the Easter of 1913 when the 300th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty was celebrated. 14K gold, silver, enamel and zircons.
